Hi, I'm Felix

Programmer and linguist with a multidisciplinary academic background in modern languages and computer science. My transition from studying human language to software engineering was driven by a deep fascination for the logical thinking underpinning both domains.

I primarily write in Scala, C#, Python and Go, though I have further experience in nearly a dozen languages.

I am an advocate for the statically-typed, polyparadigmatic languages – those which combine the best of each branch of programming – spurred from a personal foundation in object-oriented development and a profound interest in functional languages.

Many of my repositories are publicly available on my github profile, where I regularly chip away at new projects and paradigms. I also maintain a growing collection of blogposts, focusing predominantly on programming language theory and software implementation practices. My most recent covers my experiences fine-tuning a large language model for a low-resource language.

For me, code is both a creative outlet and a chance to challenge myself. I have always been fascinated by the inner workings of computers, and I am driven by the belief that the only way to satisfy this fascination is to keep writing code.
